The Groz Electronic Edge Finder, an accurate and time saving tool is designed for 2D aligning of component reference surfaces and edges, determining bore centers with reference to the machine spindle. These are manufactured from hardened steel with a spring-loaded highly accurate steel ball probe. All functional parts are hardened and accurately ground. On contact between the metal component and the spherical tip the 6 signalling LED’s light up thus identifying the point of reference. These can easily be used on any electrically conductive metal.
